Park Slope Politico

The purpose of the Park Slope Book Club is to generate discussion and debate regarding current and historical culture and ideology through illuminating works of literature. The first selection, for the month of December, is the formidable Joan Didion's Political Fictions. Not only does Didion's work offer compelling insight into campaigns of the past, but is a revealing comparison to the recent election. I look forward to a spirited discussion of rhetoric, character, and the enigmatic political machine! We welcome material and topical suggestions.
